    i like the look of a nice amount of coralline in a reef tank... how do i get it? lol

    Keep your water parameters in check, buy a piece of live rock with it on it, scrape some off the rock and let it flow around the tank, then wait.

    +1 on both replys all my rocks are covered. Its also on the glass. Rocks look good but coraline on glass getting outta control lol

    8) My 72 reef is totally encrusted with Coralline: Pink, purple, and green...

    Adding rock is certainly important. If you can get a piece of rock with a large amount, turn off your skimmer, filters,and powerhead. Once you have done this scrape a good amount of that coralline, off the rock, into the water. My coralline really takes off whenever I do a scraping. Also, remember, like everything in this hobby patience is the key...

    thanks guys! i have it on a few of my pieces of live rock but ill do some scraping maybe it will shoot off
