    I'm getting a good amount of green coralline, Is there a way to promote purple or pink growth?

    you do need some pink/ purple to start with, if you have some
    then the best way to get it to spread is to take a piece of coralline coated rock out of the water and scrape it with a screw driver and allow the flakes to drift around the tank and settle in other places

    make sure you maintain decent Mag, Ca and alk levels and it will start growing

    I do have plenty of purple from the original amount of live rock but the the bade rock is getting a lot of green anyway to encourage purple?

    Patience, honestly. It will come in time. Green always preceeds the purple.
