In three days my trumpet corals went from doing amazing to dead. They were both purchased as single heads, one was almost done splitting into two and the other was in the process of splitting into three. They've been happy in the tank for maybe 5 months (didn't keep track). I don't have a clue what happened.

My mushrooms are shriveling up from what they used to be, the sympodium isn't opening up like it did, the blasto isn't opening up, and the paly's and zoa's aren't opening up.

I have full test kits and will start on those.

The only thing I've done in the last few days was add new phosban and put in recharged purigen. To do the recharge I used bleach water as instructed and then rinsed thoroughly in fresh water with Prime. Is it possible I used too much Prime to make sure I got the chlorine out?

I'm worried because that's a lot of money that's about to die in my tank. My firefish seems fine, but that's the only thing that seems to be doing OK.

Could have still had traces of bleach.

Get your test results and people will be able to help more.

Something about what you did is affecting the tank. I agree with lilly's granddad and would do at least a 10-20% water change. How big is your tank again?
