Corals Hidden Enemy !!

    without no alarm .. all corals in my Nano tank (20g) started to die
    water Parameter is perfect .

    there is nothing to do but stand there and watching them dying also snails and shrimps died too .. fish and crabs are fine >
    am gone mad and decided to crash the tank .when am about to do it I saw little yellow spot on the lights hood !! what is it??
    yes its the enemy who killed every thing (( Rust ))

    so here you my advise be careful when choosing lights hoods !

    Is this the tank with 18dkh?

    Also rust won't kill corals, GFO is rust.

    loooooooolz no alk in this tank is 8 ;D
    but believe me alk in that tank is 18 !!!!

    It is a dry heat, yeah right !
    FOD is correct Rust does not cause sudden unexplained death.

    I would suspect ammonia. Having used rust for 2 years in my tank I can tell you that it doesn't kill.

    Post your parameters.
    Things like this do have a cause...
    I'm curious about this also.
    I would think that there would be more to do than stand by and watch everything die.

    are you running bio pellets? or carbon dosing of any sort?

    So, it sounds like you now own a FOWLR. : /
    Without knowing whats going on...not much we can do for you. If you post your test results for all elements that you test, we may find an indicator of what exactly killed off your inhabitants..this is why you posted this ..yes? How about posting some photos of this die off ? Throw us a bone dude. : )

    i've changed every thing in that tank (filter media and water )
    every thin is okay now but i posted this to get help and help other
    thanx any way ....
    but i dont think amonia did that cuz fishes and crabs doing well only corals and shrimps died
