Allready reading post on it.Thank you Inwall for the ID,that changes everything now,i'll start pulling snails here shortly so i can get the lights off,but 2 things i know i did wrong is water changes and increasing flow.i'll do my research to get them under control,i think i'm gonna put the phos-x pouch back in,and so far the reading i've done-my skimmer has really been pulling alot of crap out for a 20 gal tank, even being a seaclone!! Thank you very much.K+ to you and everyone who helped figure this out.

Do you have any questions? (I was talking with someone who was excited about getting a job, dogs fighting over a toy, etc. I wasn't in a position to type as much as I would have liked).

Thanks again so much for helping me figure out what it was.Last night i removed all the belly up snails that i could find, cranked down my powerheads as low as i could get them to decrease flow and killed the timer on the lights, then read a bunch of threads on dinos and how to dose kalkwasser to raise my ph.then made a batch up to set overnight(i allready had some mrs.wages).Today i made a simple siphon doser using a bottle, air tubing and an air valve,i have it set at about 1 drip for every 2 seconds and monitoring my ph.
Does it sound like i'm doing everything right??I'm also reducing feedings to every other day.Is there anything else i should be doing?

So far, you're on the right track. I had a dino bloom in a 15g nano I recently set up. Lights off for about 4 days did the trick. I also blacked out the tank entirely by throwing some towels over it.
Monitor your pH though. Try not to raise it too high. I aim for 8.3-8.6 when treating dino.

do you recommend a refractometer over a hydrometer? or do you have any other suggestions?

I use a hydrometer just because of my budget, but if money wasn't a problem i would definatly go with a refractometer, reading from everybody on here, they are way more accurate. Now i do every so often take my hydro to my lfs and test there tank water against there refactometer.:)
