    Here are some pictures i took of the new coralVue MH hoods when i went down there last week!! They are made from insulated aluminum. The external hood surface stays cool to the touch. No more burns when you bump it with your forehead!!

    Very good design. Do they have any dimpled reflectors?

    No dimpled reflectors yet. Here is another high end Coralvue hood that is coming out very shortly. It is aimed squarely at the Sunlight supply Marastar and the champion lighting Macro hoods. The 48" 2-250 HQI with T-5 actinics and 1 moonlight will be around $850 retail.Sunlights hood is $1069 retail!!!

    One more for good measure. You have to look closely in the upper left hand corner to see the T-5 endcap and how the bulbs will sit in the fixture.
