Well I guess I need to change my name because I bought a 90 gallon corner overflow tank and sold my 46 gallon bow front within the last week. I bought the tank used with most of the equipment except for lighting. I am customizing it to my liking and will post photos of the whole set-up when I have some that are worthy. I am going to start off with my sump though. I moved the skimmer into the intake sections from the middle so I can create a Fuge there later. It is pretty tight now and I don't have any filter material on the intake. Should I figure out a way to add a filter sock? This is where you see the ball valve I added to stop the flushing! I slight turn was all it took.

Well I turned off the return pump and added my sand to the Sump which as you can see made a huge mess.

So I am running this little hang on filter to try and clear it up before I turn the pumps back on.

OK this not really going away so do I start he pumps and let it all mix? I have read that I don't want to remove this dust since it is good for the tank. I could mix it all up and then turn everything off again to let it settle. Suggestions?

This has all cleared up overnight and all the fish are alive. I have to clean out my skimmer a bunch of times and add some filter pads to my baffles but it did the trick.

OK I added $10 worth of Red Macro Algae, Gracillaria to the fuge and started running a 65 Watt energy saver flood light 12 hours a day. Here are some pictures.

Anyone know why my new profile picture doesn't show on posts?

I took some display pictures. Notice the hair algae it's a combo of overfeeding because I was worried my clown wasn't eating, not having a fish that will eat it and my crappy lighting. I am about to do a 20 gallon water change and as you can see just added my Fuge a few days ago.

OK so it's been 3 weeks and I see absolutely no change or growth in my Red Macro Algae, Gracillaria. I see red slim and other Algae starting to grow in my fuge however. Is it my lighting? There are pictures about of my set-up.
