    Royals are very temperamental eaters, this always worked for me.

    True, their reluctance to eat in captivity is documented. OTOH, I've had four and have never had any problems. If you get a juvie, make sure it's a guaranteed feeder. (You can get one that's not yet been fed for a bit less $$, but the extra insurance is worth it. Also, I'd steer clear of any pet store/vendor who doesn't know. A reputable breeder would be the best place to buy. JM2C).
