I was wondering if anyone has any ideas on how to start a refugium in 54 gallon corner tank. The stand I have does not have much room the for the equipment. I am currently running a trickel filter with a protein skimmer and two pumps . 1 goes to a chiller and back into the filter . 2 goes back into the tank

ouch, you dont have much space.. You could always place a small fuge up on a stand.. such as a rubbermaid tank and let that gravity feed into the sump.. You would have to drill it, but thats easy as it is plastic..

What size sump do you think I need . Can I buy a small fish tank a baffle it out or should I look to make my own out of acrylic.

I've never seen this done before, but you could possibly make an acrylic tank in the shape of a triangle to house all your equipment as well as a refugium.

I was thinking of making a L shaped refugium to fit under the tank. Intake and protein skimmer in first section . Fuge in the second chamber , pump to tank in the third.

Thats a really good idea, but I believe difficult to obtain.

I still think a small raised tank is the way to go in this situation..

Here is an example of what I did to make a fuge sit in my tiny little stand.
