I used Mason Jars for minnows, crayfish and fresh water clams, tad poles.

When I lived at the ocean, I spent hours in tide pools, tiny star fish, crabs, octopi, urchins, chitons, limpets, fish. I just walked down and changed out the water every day.

Used air stones and algae and I guess what would be considered live rock.

Early 90's they came out with picos/nano's.

As you can see tanks/water/fish/inverts have always been a passion.

In 1982 I walked into a fish store in Reno Nv.

Low and behold, Metal halide lighting, wet/dry OMG, sps corals, skimmers........All available to the general public and almost affordable. It was one of the most beautiful things I had ever seen.

You're all a bunch a brats that were born with an LED in your mouth.
