Corralline taking over glass.... Stupid Bow Front tank!!!

    The coraline is taking over the front glass... Its everywhere!!!

    I have never been able to find a good scraper to get it off since with the bow from the razor doesnt sit flat,

    any suggestions on a good scraper that I could use its a glass tank

    if you take a razor and scrape horizontally it should work right??

    I was hoping there was some magical scraper I was missing that went sideways lol I hate putting my hands in the tank lol

    I hate putting my hands in the tank but sometimes there is no way to avoid it. Just do it thoroughly and you wont have to do it again for some time. I just use regular hardware store razor blades. I wash them off with soap first because it seems like they come with some kind of coating to prevent rust.

    You could also use latex gloves. I know a lot of reefers do.

    I wouldnt wash anything that is going in my tank with soap because it could raise phosphates.

    I think there is little risk if the item is thoroughly rinsed off and dried. Especially when its a small piece of metal.

    That being said, it's pretty much the only thing I wash with soap that goes in my tank.

    what about throwing in a urchin in there ;) I know he eats it like crazy.. now if we could only train him to stay in the front :p
