by no means is my birdsnest being blasted by a power head but its in good chaotic flow like the rest of the corals but it seems to not like the flow. half of the polyps are closed where you can see the polyps waving a bit
    so im just curious.

    thanks

They need medium to high flow and when they get bigger and more weaved together they need high flow. How much light do you have on it?

at the top of the tank under pc
not the best i know but the lighting isnt the problem
cause when i turn it, the other polyps open and the ones in more flow close up

I have one at the top of my tank under PC lighting too and it loves it. How long has it been in your tank. Maybe still acclimating to your flow. Mine took awhile to get used to mine.

Pretty sure thats what it is. When I got mine for about a week I thought it was dying because I didnt have enough light. It was only 2 inches under the surface then. Iv since moved it to about 8 inches below the surface and its doing great.
