Correct salt measurment?

    Alot of neck and shoulder pain,feeling loopy from the anxiety and pain meds.But considering the alternatives,I feel great!!And thanks for asking!

    I think for sure it would be far better to weigh it then dry measure with a cup. Although both will vary since it absorbs moisture which will cause it to be more or less compact or dense at different times.

    Oh,theres no doubt it'll take a little experimenting,i'm just looking for a less time wasted in tweeking it,so yes your right,if i know the weight of what i used to make lets say 3 gallon,i can also dump the same weight in a measuring cup to see where it's at in ounces.But it's not like a have a busy schedual and can't take the time to tweek,i'm just sorta lazy these days!! ;D

    When I first started mixing saltwater I measured in cups and found that I could never get it dead on every time. For the last 6 months or so I have been doing it by weight and I nail it every single time.

    ...I take it you have use of a scale to weigh it with? :-/

    Yeah, just use a small stainless steel cooking scale from walmart. There about 15 bucks I think. I just place a Styrofoam cup on it and zero out the weight of the cup and go from there.
