    nice write up Steve... question about the alk burn: do the tips become pointy or round from the burn? Or is it possibly dictated the type of flow around them...

    My digi's have white tips but still have tiny baby polyps on them, would you classify this as burn? (My alk is usually kept very consistent at 11dkh)

    In my case the tips where rounded and looked like they had chalk dust on them and there where no polyps on this area until the powdery residue cleared up

    yours sounds like growing areas on the tips to me

    kinda looks like spilled digi milk on the rock, the way it grows out :) I've accidentally broken so many frags off it already - I'd be happy to trade digitatas with you on my next accidental break.
