It won't hurt a thing to add that many. I would wait on the shrimp till your tank cycles (8-12 weeks). A hermit or 2 wouldn't hurt, but I won't put any in my 55. I don't like anything that might eat my CUC, and the last one I had got a ride in the snow after I caught him trying to eat a live snail;D! As far as starfish are concerned, they should go nowhere near your tank. You need to do some serious reading on them...

Thanks for the help, i'll start looking around for some snails then! What cycle is going to happen around 8-12 weeks? Scratch the stars for now then.

Would it be best to do a mix of turbo/margarita/cerith/nerite? like 10 or so of each?

The day after i placed the 10# live rock i saw some ammonia then two days later no amonia or nitrates and been stable since! I am running the skimmer and a filter sock and no lights. I have seen no algea yet should i ad a cuc crew or something like a clown first or just wait? This will be a mixed reef i plan on having a pair of clowns some jawfish a red scooter blenny and maybe a few others
