couple aptasia in sump

    HI,
    my last algae purchase must have had a hitch hiker, they seem to stay in the sump with the algae, none in main tanks,
    they are suposed to export things so should I freak or not.

    Yeah I think some people use them in a benthic zone or something like that, maybe Tangster or Amcarrig. Get some peppermint in the main tank and you should be good just in case one escapes to the main tank.

    Yeah peppermints get them in the night, but kill the ones in your sump by injecting them with calcium

    It's an anemone, but not very welcomed in a tank.

    Nasty stuff, ....grows like a weed and suffocates everything!

    heck get a copper band and raise it to feed him thats what I did if you cant beat it feed it to a pretty fish.
