I met a guy through craigslist a few days ago selling corals and decided to make a purchase from him, this evening I picked up a Hot Tamale Zoa Frag, And a Hammer Coral. Any advice on where to put these bad boys?? And the cool ass dude threw in for free a Sympodium frag and a Yellow Sponge Coral. Any advice for these as well? Thanks..

The zoanthids should be happy under almost any flow and low to medium light. I would try to get the hammer into low to medium flow under medium light. I guess I should ask what kind of lighting you have.

youll learn to observe your corals and be able to tell where they are happy. what size tank do you have? that is not much lighting unless you are using a small tank.

Ditto to what mike said. My hammer is mid level in my tank, 4bulb T5, in moderate flow. My zoas are near the sand bed and mid level in lower flow areas. Basically you don't want to start them out up high, too much light will be bad, but if you start them out in low light you can always move them up gradually to see what they like the most.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
Always acclimate new corals lower in the tank. Once you start moving them up you will see where they like it the best.
