Looking at a 120 gallon tank setup on craigslist. It comes with 2 eheim filter canisters and a protein skimmer. If I were to get this setup, I would like to add a sump to put all this stuff in. I would probably use a rubbermaid type container for the sump. Do I have to drill the tank in order to use a sump, and if so, where, usually, does one drill? How is the plumbing for all this usually done?

Does anyone have any good pictures of their rubbermaid sump setup?

have no first hand experience but i can tell you differet ways.

you dont hae to drill, you can use an overfow box.

sumps are always a great thing to have. especaly on small systems.

Yea, you don't need to drill. A sump is a great idea, but I wouldn't add the canister filters to it, I would just ditch them and stick with the skimmer, add a refugium compartment and you'll be good to go.
