My live rock, has started to come to life and there seems to be allsorts sprouting out. I have no idea is any of this is good or bad. The first one is like a burgundy grass, and appears on one piece of rock, looks a bit like stubble. The second appears in a few places, as single shoots, but it appears as bright luminous orange. I have no idea what these are?

looks pretty, i think its a type of red bubble algae - some people like it but if it gets out of control, in your case it appears to be pretty wild, try turning off all PHs, take a tube and siphon them out with a bucket, trying to make sure if you break one open, you capture all the spores 4 Ways to Remove Bubble Algae From Your Tank

The first pic is a red macro algae. Not sure which species. You can PM the pic to John at Reef Cleaners (sponser here). He can give you the exact name. Some macros can become invasive but alot has to do with nutrient levels in your tank. The second pic looks to be a sponge or a macro. It definitely looks like there may be some bryopsis on that rock as well. This stuff is hard to get rid of.
