The only bad thing about this light is the housing gets pretty damn hot! Other then that I've had no issues.
Place that Torch carefully, they're stingers ;) keep us updated on the skimmer. I can't wait to get one!!

    Hey nana reefer,
I cant get my output hose out of the water so it's making alot of bubbles! Should I just take it off or attach something? Any ideas?
Thx I'll take a better pic when I get home!

I have the same thing, but the skimmer model. The cup sits the same height as the light so it doesnt really tick up or jump out at you any more or less.

Mine seemed to make a fair amount of bubbles until I changed the pump. I bought mine used to so I dont think the pump was pumping consistently and the cavitation coming off the last overflow going into the out tube caused it.

You can rotate the bulkhead by loosening it first and rotate the output either left or right and then re-tighten the bulkhead.

The top video will explain it to you better.

Lol, I didn't mean to make you feel that way. ;D Don't feel bad though, I had to go to CPR's website to find the video to see what to do. I just like sharing good info that I have found. My skimmer took about 2 -3 days before all the micro bubbles stopped.

Nah, went with reefs2go.com! Mistake! Starfish were dead, they told me they were fine and put them in, i did and over the night they disintegrated into the substrate! called them back and they said to give thema few days, they'd be fine! Sent them a pic of 2 starfish in 100 little pieces and they still said to give them time!lol, i had taken them out by then! waterchange and will go with reefcleaners in the warmer months!

    lol, no worries!

Did all that and still getting a few bubbles but tons better! Had to turn the waterflow down a touch and that helped alot! I'm wondering if I drilled a few holes in the outlet tube near the top! Would that help reduce the "burping" mine id doing? (Or is tha "cavitation"?)

Mines been running for 9 months and is still bubbling. It has lessened a lot with time, it's the design I believe. However there are socks you can buy specifically for this issue. But they ugly! Lol

In order to move the outlet you must first loosen the nut located inside the fuge. Carefully as there is a gasket on the outside wall under the tube. I don't speak good parts jargon so I hope his makes sense :)
