CPR Duel Pak performance

Hey guys, so got my duel pak skimmer by CPR. the hang on pak pak version. been going about three weeks. it seems to fill up nicely on skimmate but the outflow has large bubbles and a bit of micro bubbles. the large ones go up and pop at the surface hitting my lights. anyone else having the same happen? or could tell me what to do about it. thanks

 

buy the bubble traps for it. I had the single bak pak and I used the trap and never had an issue with microbubbles.

 

will the bubble traps fit on the Dual Pak skimmer? I didnt see any sold for the dual one just the regular ones

 

You will need 2 bubble traps. One for each return.

 

Yes, get the bubble trap, I have the same dual bak pak and ive had great success with it!! good luck!

 

I didnt know they had a bubble trap. Man, I wish I knew that when mine was running.

 

Yes, they also make boxes that go over the powerheads feeding the CPR Bak Pak, letting in only the water from the very top of the tank which has more nutrient's than down low. Very good Product for the hang on type skimmerSs.
