CPR HOB refuge used

    So this guy is selling me a CPR HOB refuge for my 20 gallon high tank. Its 14" wide, 4" deep, 13.5" high.

    i think so it should be the small version. Its pretty damn dirty and apparently has a slight crack but he says i should be able to fix it with some "weld on". I know i could probably fix it with some fiberglass if thats what it came down to. But hes sellin it to me for $10 bucks.

    think its a waste of time? Im not sure exaclty how these are set up but I do have an extra power head to use for it if need be.

    For $10 you cant loose, retail new is $100+

    thats what i was thinking. Maybe do a little DIY work on it.

    what plumbing do these things require though cause i dont think hes including any.....

    just a couple small pieces of pvc and a pump should do it as far as plumbing goes.

    I say for 10 bucks it's worth a try

    a pump? as in a powerhead? its not an overflow. My saltwater equipment knowledge is a bit poor sorry. ull have to explain a bit better. :)

    Definitley worth $10 unless its unuseable. I have a HOB fuge from refugiums . It's been great since day one.
