    My CPR isn't dependent on the aqua lifter. I use it to prime the siphon, but I can do a power off test without it attached, and turn the power back on and it started right up. The water never leaves the box. I stead of an ugly tube going front to back, you have a larger area within the nicely produced and finished solid acrylic box. CPR is much nicer my two cents.
