Crab V. Anemone

I fed my anemones today and my Condy, who is rather large scored himself a full peice of shrimp. My hermit crab raced over and attempted battle for the spoils of it all.

The condy quickly wrapped onto the hermits eye and it was on !

Who do you think won?

In the pictures it looks like the anemone is destroying the crab, but that seems like too obvious of an answer so I am saying; the crab won.

 

Sizing of it all - the hermit is a large 3-4 inch shell, the condy after feeding and stretched out is about 20 inches. The Angel eyespying it all is about 10 inches - battle of the titans I imagine

 

I'm going to go with the second hermit that comes up and steals the food from the first hermit that is now preoccupied.

 

LOL - one of these little aqua-scape wreckers in a tank is enough ! this is a 180 and this is a one hermit wrecking crew ! trust me, the other hermits are your standard blue legged variety - and no match for this bohemoth

 

I guess we lost momentum here .... football is on after all, I understand

Truth be told I was entertaining myself (us) until the niners game came on.

The angel came down and kicked ass, threw his weight around and took the shrimp. I had to dirve in and get the crab out of the condy's grip. that was fun tho....thanks.

 

I hoped you watched what was going on in the tank as it was probably more exciting than that game..LOL ;D

At least you had hope going into halftime.

 

Oh dear friend, I lost hope years ago. But I stick to my standard "There is always next year". But ball is ball and I love watching the game and I love routing for my niners no matter how in vain the effort.
