Anyone ever hear of an emerald crap munching on a toadstool leather?
Something took a few bites out of the edge of my little leather coral. The new inhabitants are Emerald crabs, cerrith snails, nassarius snails.

I haven't heard of leathers in particular. But I did have an emerald crab eat some of my zoanthids awhile back.

I thought that happened to me with a toadstool coral - but you would be surprised how they can change shape. Do you have a photo?

All crabs are opportunists, If they are lacking food they will eat just about anything! If you can just target feed your emerald with some silverside chunks and he will be fine :)
