First off, I did want to say you have a nice looking tank, but as you seem to already know, a tang should not be in that sized tank. If you are able to see tangs in larger tanks, then see one in a smaller tank, you will be able to notice different mannerisms. Most notably, that tangs in a smaller tank are more stressed, lethargic and disease prone. I would highly recommend trying to find a new home for it, although from your previous posts, it sounds like you will merely disregard this advice. IMO, it is irresponsible to keep a fish such as a tang in that sized tank. You are right in that no one will go to your home and take him out, all we can do it give you is experienced advice. Good luck.

That's a completely inappropriate comment. All I'm trying to do is share my personal experience in the hopes to educate and improve this hobby. You don't have to listen to it or heed it, but should at least be respectful and take the constructive criticism. I could have really bashed you but at least tried to give you positive comments too. It sounds to me like you know the yellow tang shouldn't be in there. Anyways, good luck with the tank as it does look nice.

i agree with guitarman. and that really isn't nice of you to snap at him for giving you good advice, he was simply stating facts about the needs of a tang, not bashing you. i mean that is the reason for posting threads in forums right? to gain feedback. whether you take that advice is your own choice. like you stated "its not like they are going to come to my house and pull it out of my tank." all though it does seem like you heard this before by that comment.

all in all your tank does look nice, i just hope you would take the constructive criticism into consideration for your yellow tangs sake, not yours.

I really do think animal abuse laws should be slightly better enforced for fish than they currently are.

I mean, it's like taking a Husky, and putting it in a small room for its entire life. They would notify the owner, and end up taking the dog if the situation didn't change.

But when it comes to fish, they don't really do anything.

WEll yeah...becuase honestly man.....tangs live fine short term in smaller tanks...but when they get big...they need bigger tanks..

    Get this

For and example.......WHen your a 2 month old baby..do you need a King size bed becuase you mite outgrow your current bed? no becuase your not that big.....hes a baby tang, and he looks perfectly fine in a 29g...but when he gets biggger he looks crammed then you might wanna remove him..
