After my first encounter, I was trying to stay away from posting again, but can't. These two comments are very good. The entire point of this site is to help each other out. Craftkid may not be open to that idea and others may say we are ruining his thread but I would be an irresponsible hobbyist if I didn't say anything. Not providing constructive criticism that is well reasoned is irresponsible. This thread has greatly improved IMO b/c of the advice given. A new hobbyist may have come across this thread and seen a person has a YT in a 29 and said, great, I'll do that too, not realizing the consequences.

Craftkid, we all make mistakes, we all have done stuff with our tanks that may not have been the best for them but the important point is to take the advice in and use it. It is good that people learn from their mistakes, but again, the point of this site is to provide good advice so that we don't need to waste time, money and animal's lives. At least acknowledge that the advice given is good. I by far don't know everything about this hobby and probably never will, you don't either. You don't need to take the advice, but by not acknowledging it, you are only hurting other young hobbyists. I am already envisioning what your response will be, so my final words are, nice looking tank, you know that tang will outgrow your tank soon, so you should probably start looking for a new home for it, but besides that, good looking tank.

I haven't done anything beyond presenting my argument logically and reasonably, yet there's a kid on the othe end of the line who is losing their temper. His obvious anger at the situation is a sign that he realizes things aren't going his way, and he's attempting to stop people (the ones that are against him keeping the tang) from encroaching on what he believes is his "turf" - this thread of the forum, so he can continue on his merry way with a stubborn attitude towards the death of a living thing.

I'm not yielding to that, because I know what lies down the road, and I'm not going to stop trying to keep people from walking it and finding out the hard way at the expense of another living thing.

Seems to me as though you made this thread just to entice people to say things about your tang and stocking density. A 29 biocube is a small tank (like you recommended a tang to someone else). You cannot just go by gallons, but also dimensions. A good rule of thumb is 6 times the max length of the fish for length of your tank and 2 times the length of the max size for width. If you tank is that long and that wide, a fish will do well in your tank.

Don't make a thread on a forum and expect nothing but nice things said about your tank. These people are just trying to help you and the tang.

As inwall said, telling other people to put tangs in a small tank is irresponsible.

You shouldn't snap at people just because their response is not what you wanted to read. However, I honestly think you made this thread to cause a commotion.

Here is a nice short post for your thread:

I don't like your tank because of how you are treating your fish.

    ^^that meats your requirements.
