    My tangs, Sialfin and Kole, both exhibit that behavior!

    Do all tangs do that? Nasos and such?

    Not sure Gresh, I've only had Sailfin, Kole, and Convict tangs. Three different genus and the same habit of picking up sand.

    Just wanted to share that the tang is still doing good. he wont eat off of a clip but he waites for food to float through the water and eats it. I even saw my yellow tang take some food behind the rocks for the achilles tang. I have a very cool calm yellow tang. He is great.

    The achilles is swimming in the open more and seems to be adjusting very well. I love this hobby!

    my, poor, Naso did the same thing, some yellows are known to eat their, uh uh, poop, lol, mine did and it kinda freaked me out the first time, he even ate the naso's, uh uh, left-overs ;)


    Liz, that is a good looking tang, and the pic isnt that bad, ;)

    The ultimate in reef recycling, eh? Same behavior observed in my tank!
