So I thought it was about time to post some pictures of my tank. Keep in mind it is still a work in progress. I recently upgraded a bunch of equipment in preparation of switching over from softies to lps and sps, with a focus on sps. The equipment drained my funds, so I only have one sps at the moment. In fact picked it up yesterday. More sps are coming next month.

Last is the sps I just purchased. If any one can identify it I would appreciate it. All I know is it is an acro of some sort.

Things on eviction list: Sun coral, coral beauty.

Constructive criticism is welcome. I will bring home my work camera and try to get better pictures as I add new corals. my personal camera is a crappy waterproof camera.

Nice tank. Equipment can be very expensive. i am in the process of getting a credit card with 0% interest for 12 months just so I can buy some needed equipment without having to break the bank all at once. I think the acro is some sort of bonsai acro.

BTW, your skimmer is off :D

I love the massive shelf of rock up top. That will gladly hold plenty of SPS for you in the future.

Good looking tank. I like the aquamag on the left side. I am a big fan of them!

yeah, I was thinking about a sps garden. It's a little big for my tank but I think once it is covered with corals it will blend in better.

Major some major changes recently. Got rid of the Sun Coral. I had a couple corals die to neglect or my lack of knowledge. Anyway, I made the decision devote more time and money to my tank for proper care and to continue upgrading equipment. Purchased a phosphate reactor, RODI unit, 4 korilla pumps and smartwave. My CUC was lacking so I placed an order with John and just added a bunch of little critters to my tank. I also placed an order with Vivid. Should arrive next week. Pictures to come when I get everything added and acclimated.

Way to stick with it. Was that sps a Garf Bonsai? Did it survive? I like that huge rock pretty cool looking. Good luck with new corals, posts pics plz.

The Bonsai is in really bad shape. I had to cut most of it off due to algae, the remaining piece isn't looking good. I'm afraid it is a goner. On a positive not, Fedex finally showed up 2.5 hrs late and delivered my order from Vivid.

    I got:

    Sunshine Millepora
    Pink Stylophora
    ORA Red Planet Table Acropora
    Vivid Blue Millepora
    Rose Anemone

the bag with the Stylophora busted during shipment and 2/3 of the water leaked out. I hope it didn't damage the coral. It has only been in my tank about 2 hours so it is too early to tell, but a couple of the branches don't look so well. I'll post some pictures later today.

Also the Red Planet doesn't look so hot.

I've never ordered coral over the internet so i'm hoping the corals just need to acclimate for a day or two.

Stylophora isn't looking good at all. Not sure what to do. Any advice is welcome.
