Great deal IMO. I just bought a 150 with metal stand, 60hex with wooden stand, an old slate bottom 30, 4' PC fixture with bulbs and a UV sterilizer all for $100 that I found on craigslist

Well I thought it was a good deal just for the fact that it is predrilled with an overflow. i can't get a new one, that size, for $400 and this one comes with all the equipment and livestock.

Go for it, like you said the tank alone is worth the $400, not to mention all the other stuff.

    Just a word of advice.

Once you get there look it over for scratches, dents, and dings. The tank I got was great but it had some flaws I didn't notice until I gotit home like some nails in the top lip (corroded with rust), and a lot of scratches on the sides (from LR touching glass). Scratches are considerably annoying, and if there's enough of them forget about taking a decent picture. I'll probably be getting a new tank sooner rather than later because of this.

you could call and see if he will take a deposit to hold it for you. or you can wait and see if he still has it, and if he does, maybe he will even take less if he really needs to get rid of it.

He won't hold it for me but if its still available this weekend, he is selling it to me for $400 instead of $500

Just make sure you're ready for a tank that deep, lots of people don't like not being able to reach the bottom of the tank without going up and over their shoulder, or having to use a grabber/tongs or something. Also lighting will be more difficult.
It sounds like a pretty good deal to me though if you like those dimensions and if everything is in good shape.

Well, I wanted a deep tank because the seahorses need it.
I can't really reach the bottom of my standard 55 gallon real well anyways so I don't think it will be a problem, will just buy some tongs.

Im not worried about lighting. I don't plan on having many corals and if I do get some it will just be softies.
