Cranberrys on live rock

    Hi, these are on the live rock I just got. They look like translucent cranberrys. Are they harmless ?

    nope, It looks like red bubble algae.

    Thanks Trigger, I was afrade of that, Seems like anytime I find something pretty, and free, it'sbad for me ! LOL
    So I just need to pull them off the rock ? This is in my soon to be mantis tank.

    give them a twist and they should come off. or you could throw an emerald crab in the , fatten it up for the mantis. :)

    If it is for a mantis tank then there is no problem, they aren't harmful the only problem with them in a reef is that they spread fairly quickly and take over rocks.
