    So recently i moved and am able to have a tank again. So here goes

    3 gallon Pico tank
    3lbs live rock
    5 red legged hermits
    Evilc66's PAR 38 - 21w Cree Lamp (in the mail)
    Oceanic Bio cube Circulation Pump (250 gph)
    Tetra 50w heater
    aqua clear 20

    Back to old pump last pump just had too much flow and i think my coral says ty, awesome extension on my pocillopora this mornin b4 the lights even come on. (well flipped on real quick to snap teh photo)

    well rlly not much u can put in their sense its only 3g and the heat flux. is gonna be a pretty good swing. id say some mushrooms and some zoas would look ok.

    your tank looks really cool! With the size being so small will it cycle faster or slower than a larger tank? just curious...

    heat flux? i will be running an led bulb and the temp over the past 3 days has stayed +/- .2 degrees. i'm definitely going to try some sps in there and zoas, no shrooms they just grow to damn fast and end up taking over.

    also the rocks and sand were from an established system so short cycle =)

    the lighter is there for size i would think ;)

    i would be warry of SPS in a small tank, especially 3 gallons. you may end up having to do many frequent water changes to keep up with it. (ie. two a week maybe?) im not too sure, just test and youll find out what y ou need to do. good luck.
