Yup that's right tank number 2 here i come. well i found a good deal on craigs list for:

Perfecto 37G column 20x18x24 the tank is driled (reef ready) 1 inch drain and 1/2 return the back is pained black no cracks, leaks or scratches it comes with DIY canopy, 2 x 65W power copmact ballast with one actinict bulb (<-- i will be converting that over to led)and 75G AGA stand + 30G sump (36 x 12 x 16)

and i just couldn't say no. i probably won't have the funds to get the water and rocks in it for another couple weeks, so here are some pics i have now. get real ones friday when i go to pick it up.

Very nice, makes for some interesting options using just half the space on the stand.

well i was able to get some more cured rock so i transferred my 3gallon contents into it for now and it is half filled, with the heat being so intense and my a/c not being as reliable as i would like the temp swings were killin me. i should be able to get the plumbing and skimmer in the next week or so and ill post pics then

well i had no idea that snails would actually eat the bio-film on top of the water, sorry i could not get a better macro shot. has anyone else witnessed this? the snail on the left was actually eating at the top of the water but not breaking the surface tension.
