I was draining water from the tank to do a change and noticed my flame angel was swimming around in the corner overflow. I guess it jumped and luckily ended up in there instead of on the floor. I wish it would have jumped back into the DT because it was a PIA to get out of the overflow.

glad you got it out. One day I was feeding my fish and I thought I saw something splashing in my overflow. It was against a wall so it was hard for me to see. I threw some food in there and again saw something splashing. I reach down as far as I could and did nto feel it.

I took stock of my tank and the only fish I could think that was missing was my female blue jaw trigger!!! I had to pull my one tube out so that I could drain the overflow as much as possible...climbed on a step ladder and reached in to get it. Triggers BITE! I knew I was going to get it so I put on these aquagloves...after about 10 minutes I finally got that thing out! Major pain!

I used to have a tank with rear overflow boxes, my clowns hosted it at the time at night they'd get to close to the top and end up in the sump was kind of scary/funny about the first dozen times then it got old having to net them out of my sump.

In my nano my 6 line disappeared for about 2 months then I found him hiding in the rear filtration chamber when I was changing the filter media, he's still kickin it in my 24g to

When i made the transition from my 29 biocube to my 55g, i moved all fish except my watchman goby. A week later i went to clean the 29 gallon, mind you, filters, lights and heaters had been off for a week, i found the goby laying in back filter alive still, barely. A month and a half later, my tank got ich and everything died except the goby.

damn bugger doesnt want die!!! hurray
