I recently added 2 Black Ice Clowns to my 33 gallon reef tank.
I heard that ORA is trying to produce a Black Snowflake (well they've already produced one) Upon closer inspection of my new little guys I would have to say that one of them is very close to being a Black Snowflake, his bottom half is completely jet black. I'm even thinking that were the black ocellaris continue to get darker over time, my little guy will continue to do the same over the next few months and all of his orange will be black.

Any opinions? They are a little over an inch big.

Proaquatics (spelling?) made a "Blacker Ice Clownfish" where they bred a black ice with a B/W. Yours will most likely have a black body and orange face, I've seen it before.

I looked into the proaquatix blacker ice clowns. It would appear my other clown fits that description. Especially when compared to the one in this video Blacker Ice from Proaquatix - YouTube however other rare variations such as mine have started occurring now that they are trying to produce the black snowflake by breeding black ice with a black ocellaris. Whether I'm left with 2 blacker ice clowns or one blacker ice and one black snowflake, I think their cool either way.
