There's an interesting article on "algae eating" blennies in Dec. '08 Aquarium Fish Int.
This is from the rockskipper section of the article.........

Wow interesting stuff. Thanks mission! It still doesnt explain how it got under two doors, as I imagine it would have had to "crawl/walk" or something similar.
Does yours ever jump? I know yours is about the closest I have seen to mine, with all the strange blenny's that appear at the stores.

I had a lawnmower blenny jump out of the coolwhip container I use for acclimating. He jumped from the height of the counter down onto the tile floor, maybe 3 ft? When I came back down to add more tank water to the container, he wasn't there. Luckily I didn't step on him. After being out of the water for maybe 2-5 minutes I figured there was not much point in any further acclimation, so I just tossed him in the DT. He turned out just fine from that and lived on for a few more months even.
The craziest is I had a crayfish climb the airline hose out of my 10 gallon FW when I was kid. Even when we moved a few years later, that house was cleaned wall to wall and the crayfish was never found and never smelled of rotting shellfish anywhere.

Mine has never jumped and never gives me the impression that it may.
