I cleaned my Mom's 30 gal FOWLR tank today. Tank has been up for about 8 months and the coraline growth is amazing! Her back wall was all pink, so she wanted me to scrape it off. I did and the tank looks new! Well, all the rocks are still pink :) anyway, there was so much coraline on the floor of the tank that I took maybe 1/4 home to put in my 75 gal. Was a little funny to...well more grrr. My Mom's clownfish have always been super aggressive towards humans. Her female kept splashing water at me that one point she jumped out of the tank and onto the floor. I put her back in and she calmed down, for a bit.

Probably could...I know some company sells coraline "booster plates" that are just little plates covered in coraline.

That's great that the tank is doing well and the coralline is spreading. Sorry you had to scrape it all off. I am finally starting to get less green and more purple coralline on my back glass. Can't wait till its completely covered.

My old clowns used to be like that. They liked me until I put my hands in the tank and my female would always bite me. I would have to shoo her away but she would keep coming back for more. Silly clowns.
