So as the thread title says "Crazy Fish Doing Crazy Things", I'd like to share with you my story.

I'm rather new to this marine hobby but I've had a freshwater tank of my own since I can remember. About two years ago I owned a red Oscar that I got as a juvi and I had it till it grew to it's normal mature size. Well one day me and my family were watching a movie in the living room with the lights off. My 36 gallon bow tank that I have now is in the living room where I kept the Oscar. Well into almost half of the movie, I spot at the corner of my eye a black object on the floor far from the tank and were we all were. I didn't pay ant mind to it because it was dark in the room and I was really into the movie. About 20 minutes later I look at the dark object on the floor and all of a sudden I see it flip and shake. At this moment I'm like "oh s**t what is that". I manage to go to turn on the light and go to this dark object only to find my Oscar on the floor.... Out of the tank. I'm thinking my little buddy isn't goingcto make it but when I put him back in the tank he went back to it's normal self. Amazing. so what had hanppened is that he really likes to jump out of the water, so at one point he jumped so persisly that he managed to jump out off the tank and onto the floor through the opening of the hob filter. What luck is that? Especially to be out of the water for so long and be able to back into the tank like nothing happened is crazy.

So that's my crazy fish story. If anyone has something crazy about their little friend please share. It's cool to see how our fishys can get themselves into trouble.

I had a platy do that in the wee hours of the morning my daughter found him a bit dry but still slimy...picked it up and put it back in none the worse for the wear.

I also have a Blenny & a cleaner shrimp that attack my hand when it goes in the tank, thinking I have food for them (they hand feed can you tell).....the shrimp will eventually leave me alone....not so much with the Blenny.

I also have a Green Spotted Puffer that decided to take a ride up the intake tube for a HOB filter then got stuck...lucky for it that I found it in time and got it out. Is also lucky it didn't fit or it would've been Ginsued sushi.

When I had freshwater tanks, the oscar and parrots would jump straight out of the tank nearly every time I fed them. I would literally have a wet hand every single time they got fed.
