So I got my sump up and going, turned on the light to the DT today just to see how it looks and my return pump is pumping back crazy amounts of micro bubbles, what did you guys do to stop micro bubbles?

I was going to go buy foam and put it between the baffles where the bubble trap is, I noticed some bubbles are getting past the trap, and when the water from the fuge falls into the Return pump area it creates bubbles as well, should I just load some more foam over on the return pump side too or just slow the flow in the fuge down?

I just went through this issue myself. I choked my pump down to slow the flow through my sump. Problem solved.

I have had that problem also. I raised the water level in the return section so there wasn't a water fall effect. That stopped most of them. I still get bubble bursts from time to time but I don't know why. Drives me crazy.

Yeah seeing the bubbles drives me insane, ill try that, I would imagine that would help solve the bubbles from the fuge

I get a few bursts every 5 - 10 mins. My sump doesn't have any in it and I added a bunch of silicone to my Loc-line. I am open to ideas also on that one.

I get rid of all of my micro bubbles by putting my return pump inside of a 7 inch filter sock, this stops all of the micro bubbles, and adds an extra layer of filtration in my system. I change the sock out on the intake of my sump and the one around my return pump weekly. Works great and is an easy fix.
