Well, no response from plastomatic. I'm going to assume the flow rate velocity is going to exceed the recommendation. For now I will just count on NOT plumbing the solenoid valves in :( .... bummer
But on the flip side.....I did fit the skimmer into the sump.

I just need to cut a hole/holes in the remaining baffle in order to keep the water level at the right height. The manuf recommends 10-15cm (4"-6")water level. Before I cut any holes I was hoping for anyones input if they use the same skimmer.?.?.? Is this water height correct??? I've never used an Aqua Medic Turboflotor T1000 Protein Skimmer before, but i do know i need to clean this one up....a bunch !! Also I will ditch the rio and add the ocean runner 2700 pump. Sump will soon get a bath as well.

Well yesterday i was trying to figure out the best way to configure/plum my two sumps. In the mix of the whole thing i did determine i needed two bulkheads. I picked up a couple and bounced the idea off the LFS owner, to my surprise he said he had an old 50 gallon acrylic tank he'd give me to use instead. I will pick it up monday and see how it sits in the cabinet. I'll post pics when i get it. Super cool of him :)

Thank you Telgar, very cool of you to pass the Karma out. I can hardly wait to pick it up tomorrow after work. I was shocked he said he'd give it to me, i even offered to buy it from him... Now I'm just hoping it fits in the stand. My only real concern is the height, just wanna make sure there will be enough room between the top of the sump and the bottom of the stand to remove the skimmer when needed for cleaning. Right now i have 36" (± a little) of height in the stand. I'll keep you updated tomorrow with pics ;D

Thanks Powerman. I'd like to thank you for the reference to the Bean-Animal design way back when in my "Drain Diameter Question?" thread. I could only imagine the mess and noise I would have ended up with in the original game plan of no overflow box. Thanks for the post too :)
