Well i dont know if i can officially say the new tank is born, but over the weekend i moved the 135g out and set the 150 up.. Whoo-hoo !!!!
Shes just being toped off right now with RODI to fill the sump. The only things I still need to do are some minor plumbing parts for the phosban reactor and UV sterilizer. I ran the lights today and reached 83F. I'ts a bit of a chilly day so there's no doubt i'll need a chiller :(
There's a heater on the right side, It'll come out tonight i just needed to heat the RO water yesterday. Should be able to run the sump return by tomorrow evening.. And apparently I'll need more base rock too.
I cant believe how awesome the Reeflo Hammerhead is, awesome water movement and extremely quiet.

well last night i finished a manifold to splice into my sump return pump. I let the silicone dry over night so hopefully i have enough ro water to fill the sump. If so i'll plug her in and post an update. I'll be able to run my phos reactor and skimmer so i'm geting stoked..

Well, out of bordom i had my video cam set up to record the process of the tank swap. If you're wondering, the tank was filled with rodi water from a reservoir i had. Its not tap water running through the hose..

That's nifty. I like the fast-forward, especially with that song. :) (such Great Heights-The Postal Service)

Your hitchhiker also appears to be a brittle sea star. Good find.

Thanks Seano, I just happened to be listening to that song when i was putting the video together so i ended up adding it in.

I bought a couple clumps of chaeto the other day and there were all kinds of those brittle stars and some small shrip looking things. Maybe they were large copods i'm not sure though.

Nice build any updates I am doing the bean style overflow as well on my 90 gallon build in my sig. You might want to check with bean on the manifold idea I don't think the system was ment to work that way and might bite you in the butt later have you tested the failsafe features with the manifold yet?

Sorry Scott, i somehow missed your question on the 26th.
So far the overflow is performing well. I have tested the fail-safe suction by closing the regulating valve and it drains the water and then some. It would take a miracle to have water not flow through the bean animal fast enough. I too questioned the manifold during the build process, when i put it together i had intentions on replumbing it if any problems occured. So far its ok. I ran my down tubes from the bulkheads 1-1/2" i believe then they feed into 2" pvc. I went big to prevent the system from creating its own syphon. This way there is plenty space for air and only siphon that happens is in the down tubes. Once i set the valve to create a little back pressure i have not had to adjust it since. I figure it will only need to be adjusted if i change the return pump larger or smaller. I'll check out your sig here in a little bit and see what you've got goin on.
    Cool.
