heck no, those movies are only fuel for the fire.. for as tough as I think I am somtimes Im just a plain wuss about scary movies. lol

saw both movies.....4th kind was alright.....ended weird. I did not like the whole "real" interview vs the "actor" interview. Gave me a headache!
Paranormal activity....seemed like an awful lot of hype for a mediocore movie. We actually laughed during it! Dont get me wrong..parts of it made me jump! Just overall wasnt very good.

never saw paranormal activity. Well i stayed up to about like 1 with my light and radio on, then i just kind of fell asleep since nothing else had happend, and i just kept the light and radio on all night

Don't be afraid of it, what ever it is. I know for the last 4 years, ever since my son died ( at 16ys old) I hear him sometimes up in his room. sometimes when I am cooking and it is something that he would have loved, I can hear him asking whats for dinner. I can even smell him sometimes.

For me, its reasuring. I know he is here with me. Normally its when I am waiting for test results from oncology. He was my number one supporter when I was diagnosed with cancer 4 years ago.

Bottom line here Puffer, it is probably someone that is looking after you. Don't worry or be afraid. Just my opinion especially if they are not doing any harm.

Night terror?

I am tossed on the topic of ghosts. I think I believe in them and I believe I have seen them.

Funniest story though....I have night terrors really bad. I hit things, sleep walk and see things when I am falling asleep. Most of the time it is within 15 minutes of going to bed. I go through spells with these, and they happen more when I am very stressed

Twi of the worst stories I remember is: One, I had the opportunity to go to school abroad. I was in Wales traveling with a friend. We were in this nasty, nasty hotel room where we joked that they had holes in the walls to video tape us (I do believe they were watching us to this date). My friend had to wake me up as I was standing over my friends bed, with my fists clinched ready to hit her. Apparently she said I was screaming and hitting my bed like I was being attacked and got out of bed and went to her bed and was going to hit her. I remember waking up thinking I was really being attacked and could not go back to bed.
that's really scarry!
The second just happened. I had heard a gunshot somewhere around my house one evening. I called the police and reported it. Later that night I went to bed and woke up to seeing somebody walking down the hall. When I opened my eyes they darted down the hall. So...I called 911 and said I had an intruder. Now mind you my dogs that were in bed with me was sound asleep. I had to tell them, I am sorry...I think I just had a nightmare! Very embarrasing!
that's very creepy about the gunshot, possible it was a nightmare, but who knows
But I do think I have seen ghosts in my house. I have seen shadows or "people" in my house before. Never really feared them but...... When my grandma died, I was at the funeral home talking to somebody. I swear, she was right behind me. She wore this particular perfume that I dont smell often. Well as we were talking, I smelled her perfume and heard her laughing at a story that I was telling.
that was me too, when i saw the guy behind me and the shadow person never feard them, when i saw my first spirit i wasn't freaked out at all, i knew someone wass standing behind me, i saw them and felt their presence, but when i turned, no one around, just me.

And same kind of thing happend when my grandma died, she had died in her house the day before her birthday, the day of her birthday was supposed to a big party, but instead turned into her funeral. But when we were all sitting in her living room *the place she died* a picture of her and my grandpa fell down, and there was nothing that it could have made it fall. And the couple that ended up renting the house the wife said that there was a nice spirit in the house, i knew it was my grandma.
I think most of the time they are good spirits. I was in a severe car crash a few years back....luckily not hurt with the exception of a few bruises, a concussion and a ruptured eardrum due to the windshield and windows shattered. The car flipped over and I was trapped. They said it took 45 minutes to cut me out. I was on the verge of panicking right before anybody got there, when someone or something told me to "just relax it was going to be ok, and just close my eyes!" I felt like it was going to be ok then!
wow! glad you were alright and listen to the voice!

Sorry to ramble....sick with bronchitis and took cough syrup that has drugs in it! LOL

A few months ago my girlfriend and I were walking by a retirement home and we heard someone clearly say her name. I even turned around went up to the building looked around and couldn't find anyone. Then we heard it again. It was creepy and no one around here knows her. Then it happened again as we started to walk away but no one was around and it sound like it was right next to us. We both heard it ... creeeepy.
