I have set-up a 180 gallon reef tank and I have noticed some creatures that I want to be sure are ok to have in the tank.

You got nice rock. First two are bristleworms and are ok. The last one is a stomella snail and they are great!

 

+1 Ingtar,thet're ugly but very good benificial scavengers and great to have.

 

yup plus one, I started with one Stometella, now I have 3! so they re good little algae grazers! cool thing with bristle worms, if you take some shrimp on a skewer, and hold it at the sand, with the lights dimmed, they well come out to feed on it after a few minutes, then you'll see all of them lol. I have a 3" one in my tank

 

Thanks everyone the tank is still in a cycle mode so I am keeping a close eye on what shows up.

I am semi new at the reef tank set-up and this tank is only one month old so I will question anything new that pops up.

I don't want any pests

 

I used to have a 4 inch one that would come out during feeding and eat whole medium sized pellets. They are good to have until there are enough to irritate coral.
