I feel I have this down. Just wanted to see if anyone wants to tell me if it's right or wrong.
It's nothing more than a paint drawing and is pretty simple.

The drivers will be adjusted to 1A which should give each string of 12 600mA.

I should be more specific. And thnx for bump cosmo.

    My plan in steps is:

    1. Before taking the current 28 3W LED mod in my mh fixture apart I will adjust the drivers to 1200mA
    2. Layout the current and additional 20 LED's, solder and wire the circuits as shown above.
    3. Check each LED for short/grounding.
    4. If all circuits are good I'll power up the drivers and check each string for 600mA at the resistors.

Hopefully they are all very close and I won't need to do any balancing. That would make it a whole new ballgame.

So if you happen to read this and have some advice, or if you think something is wrong please let me know. TIA

Just remember the reds blues greens and UV operate at 700 mA the whites are 1.3 A so make sure if you are having other colors not to burnt out the lesser powered LEDs

Well my expert opinion after reading 1 article on it!lol! Is that when you run in parallel it splits the power so if he's running at 1200 mA hell be pushing 600 mA a string! Now that's assuming the article was right and I can read!;) both stretches!

That is perfect. I just did something similiar with a 4.4 amp driver I have 8 strings of 9 leds (72) total. The driver is divided by how many strings you have running in parallel. In my case 4.4 ÷ 8 = 550ma per string of 9 leds. Every string MUST be the equal amout of leds though. Only difference in mine is I have a 750ma quick blow fuse as the bridgelux leds are only rated for 700max. This way really is the better way to do it. Less drivers less wiring less headache

I forgot I had posted this here.

Yeah it's all been figured out and the parts have been ordered. I'm pretty stoked about going all LED finally. :)

I shouldn't have said "all the parts". I was holding off on a Typhoon in case I punked out on the parallel. If so I was going to order two more 48P's w/ it. Now I go to order and it's OOS. LOL Hopefully they have it back in stock soon.
