Are you going to add anything to the ball valve entering the fuge?

only issue i see is bubbles from the skimmer going right under that baffle and then into your return. any room to add another baffle? so the water has to go over, then under, then over into the return area?

Wasn't planning on it, it was just to control the flow into the fuge, but wide open seems to be about right. Any thing I should?

    Thx LG

I've down power failure tests and it seems to be OK.

I glued a corner type isolation box (2"X 2") in the fuge with a pipe dropping into it...that way when you turned it up for any reason or just while it was flowing you had no agitation of the fuge material...

Technically, I could, I was just trying to max out the huge area, as this skimmer is HUGE

I would add another piece of pipe to cut down on splashing and salt creep.

Your skimmer should break in, and the bubbles shouldnt be an issue. IMO

Agree with the above, the extra baffle and the longer pipe on the fuge area. If you look at my build thread I did the same sump design. It has been great. Can't wait to see yours running. What kind of skimmer is that?
