    Well I got my BoostLED Mu 135w light in today, and I will say that the the light it produces is awesome. The fans however are a bit loud. I wonder if there is a way to muffle them that will not void the warranty. hmmmm

    None yet. Gotta get everything mounted first.

    Maybe it needs a breaking in period, but it's fairly loud. I can hear it running 20' away and with the tv on....I think a canopy will muffle it nicely though so that's my next build plan.

    Ok my friends I know some of you have been wanting to see this setup so forgive the poor quality pic. Plus ignore the crappy 5 minutes of labor I put into the canopy. It has flaws for sure, but I'll fix it up over the weekend. I just wanted to get an idea of how tall I wanted it and what the light looked like over my tank. The pic is with all lights on. My phone can't handle the light.

    LOL, thanks. All the 110's from St. Pete are in Miami or KW now, nothing but 87's and 210's here now. I was on the Kodiak Island a few years back. Actually my avatar pic was taken while on patrol on the KI. 20+' whale shark!!

    I'm out of the guard now and going to University of South Florida. Working on getting my CPA.

    The light looks great my man. I gotta admit, I'm a little jealous over here haha. Next time boost is having a sale, I think I'm gunna jump on it. Hopefully labor day they'll have one, my 21st is that wknd, so hopefully I'll actually have the cash flow to do it too lol.

    I love your scape too by the way. Very original. I hate when people just buy big blob rocks and mound em up ya know. What'd ya end up doing filter wise?
