Just a few pics to share. I have a love/hate relationship with these LED's. Love them for my corals, hate them for my pictures. The fact that I'm using an android phone doesn't help matters I guess.

Couple new shrooms. The one on the left is a neon orange but you can't tell from the picture.

Beautiful shots from the Android. LOL that does look like you are getting the bird. Blue light is very difficult to over come with cameras since they seem to capture it so well.

Very nice corals. That isn't to bad just using a phone lol. I have to use my wife's DLSR to get good pictures lol. She has all the fancy filters and what not to make it so I don't have to do any editing before I upload them to photobucket. Thank God. Photography is her thing, and reefing is mine.

Sad day today. I found my royal gramma in his cave. There were about 5-6 of my hermits enjoying the all you can eat buffet, that's what they are in there for I guess. Grimace (my RG, named after the McD's purple guy) was doing great and eating like a pig. Not sure exactly what happened. He did have a bout with a little ich several weeks back but he fought through that like a champ. I like to think I do a very good job at taking care of my pets, but I can't help but feel like a jerk right now....

At least the clowns and corals are fine.

Sorry to hear. Any loss really sucks but at least the Gramma is easily replaced. Eventually you'll get the gramma that lives for years with no problem, but it might take you a couple to get there.

Well I got a couple new fish last night. A little firefish and a blue green chromis. Both are doing great and eating like champs. I'm LOVING the chromis, it is such and active swimmer and he shimmers with every movement under the LED's. I've been trying to get a few pics, but man those guys move fast. I need to upgrade my camera so I can get some better tanks shots! I'll keep trying to snap some pics, but don't get any hopes up lol.

    Edit:

Doing fantastic. Not shy at all! Eating like a pig, I think it's even eating at pods floating around in the tank.

    Same with the chromis.
