Been a long time but I finally got some new pieces for my 40B. Found a new store thanks to Stercus Accidit and they had great frags. Picked up a turquoise stag, orange digi, and a red plant. They were only $15 each so I think I got a pretty good deal. These pics are after dipping, acclimating, and sitting in the tank for a bout 10 minutes. PE is already looking pretty good.

Well it's nice to find people in the same area. I would have never found that place otherwise. They've got nice SPS for great prices, but oddly they are rather pricey on some of the softies lol. Overall a nice store and really close to the apartment......oh man, that may be bad. I'll be broke in no time.

Just a couple snapshots. I made a little frag rack to aid in light acclimation. That little Red Planet frag is my new favorite coral! So excited to watch it grow.

    Six Months!!!

Today marks the half year birthday of my 40B. Things have come a long way and I've learned soooo much since I started. Just wanted to share a few pics and say thanks for all the help I've received along the way.

I know I really need to get a camera this phone just doesn't do the tank justice. So like always sorry about the crappy photos.

Same frag as the one on the left in the pic below.

Started as 3 heads and now it's 12-13 and about the size of a grapefruit

Thanks! It was a pita building that thing in my living room. I do love it though. It really adds to the tank. A lot of people think it's just about what's in the tank, and that's true to an extent, but I like it when the whole package looks nice.

Nice! It's amazing how fast your tanks "grow up" LOL.

Oh and can someone help me out with that coral in pic 6 and 7? I bought it as a gsp. It does have a purple mat and is a "green star" but it grows SUPER SLOW. Is it just a variety of gsp? Just curious really.
