    Gosh, that sounds familiar....hmmmm

Well, I did not break it on purpose! ::)
I like the berlin, don't get me wrong...but the hubby has been looking at bigger tanks for 'someday' and I am planning with the future in mind...

I ordered the AquaC EV 120 from Captive Reefs (he had it in stock...) so I will let you all know how it compares.

It seems to me that you get good skimmate from your other thread... :D The turbo berlin has the needle wheel pump, right? That may make a difference too. Mine did not have that.

Hi Birdlady I Just had to say that about dumping the Berlin as you just said the same thing to Da_Colts and I knew you would find the statement familiar ;) ;D
The Berlin turbo uses a 12 blade TurboJet impeller air infusion system. I guess it is the same principal as a needle wheel system but I am not that UP on my skimmer lingo or knowledge so I am only guessing. :-/
There are so many types and brands of skimmers on the market now, It would be very difficult to happen upon a good one without a forum like this to get experienced information on the subject.
So how big of a tank are you thinking about going to? ;D I would like to go to at least a 125 my self ;) ::) ................ John

Well, now I have to wait until MONDAY for my skimmer.  I ordered from Darin at Captive Reefs and he sent it right out.  According to UPS tracking, it got to Philly at 5:45 am today.  Did not get on a truck today so it is sitting in the UPS warehouse, 15 minutes from my house, until the next scheduled delivery day!!!AAARRRRGGGGHHHH!!!!!!
