Crushed coral?

    Mine was wet, and it fizzled a lot.
    I went to the LFS today, I think I'm going to keep what I have. It is aragonite, but isn't the super fine that I would like.
    They had an assortment of sizes and mine seemed to match the bag with mixed sizes.

    It isn't crushed coral though. I saw some bags of that and even the smallest pieces of that is bigger than my biggest piece.
    IT should still be good for the lawnmowers to suck it in and out of their gills.

    I was gonna say that doesn't look like crushed coral, and if you're cycling, some live sand won't hurt.

    Yeah, In the picture I separated the big pieces from the small so people could get a good look. I would take me all day, but I could mash the big pieces with a hammer.. hehe
    I'm pretty cheap .. so that could happen. lol

    It was a little messy, but not too difficult and well worth it in my opinion. The tank looks much better, has a much 'cleaner' appearance, and I believe I will have a much easier time keeping nitrates in check.
